About Rachel

Rachel’s path into counselling grew from her genuine wish to help children, youth and young adults work through life’s challenges. She has spent valuable time supporting high-risk teens, including Indigenous youth, and has witnessed how addiction, anger, anxiety, and depression can affect day-to-day life. Rachel’s caring nature and understanding approach helps create a space where clients feel safe to share their stories and discover healthy ways to grow. She knows that each person’s struggles are unique, and her goal is to guide them in building confidence, managing emotions, and finding hope, no matter what they’ve been through.

Having completed her Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology, Rachel is now in the process of registering with the College of Alberta Psychologists and the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association. Drawing on methods like Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy, and solution-focused techniques, she tailors each session to the specific needs of the people she sees. Rachel’s personal experience with ADHD gives her a deeper understanding of clients who are neurodiverse, and she offers flexible scheduling, including sliding-scale or pro-bono services, because she believes everyone deserves professional support. Above all, Rachel aims to respect and uplift every individual’s story, guiding them toward resilience and a brighter outlook on life.
